JOIN NOWBob Ryan - legendary American sportswriter and formerly from the Boston Globe - joins Martin Devlin on It's Only Sport to share his thoughts on the NBA All-Star game on Monday, which saw the East beat the West 211-186. The All-Star game has become heavily criticised in recent years with players selected seemingly showing no interest in playing at a high level and making the game competitive.
Speaking to Devlin, Bob Ryan describes the players who competed - including the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry - as "athletic criminals" and believes there needs to be a total overhaul of the event.
