Geoff Parkes - rugby writer for The Roar in Melbourne - joins Martin Devlin on it's Only Sport, discussing the Melbourne Rebels suing Rugby Australia for A$30 million, as part of a damages claim launched in the Australian Federal Court. Back in May, RA cut the Rebels from Super Rugby Pacific after they racked up a debt of just under A$23 million, which put them in voluntary administration at the start of 2024.

Parkes and Devlin also talk about the former's new book A Year in the Life and Death of the Melbourne Rebels, which is set to release on 29 October.

Martin Devlin is a veteran New Zealand radio and television broadcaster.
