Hamish Kerr, one of New Zealand's many gold medallists at the Paris Olympic Games, joins It's Only Sport host Martin Devlin in a very special interview, a matter of days after winning the men's high jump in the Olympic stadium. Kerr became the first New Zealand male to win gold in a field event at the Olympics, when he beat American Shelby McEwen in a jump off to take gold.

Kerr talks to Devlin all about the occasion and the emotions he endured before, during and after the final. He also discusses whether or not he would've been happy to share the gold, his plans for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, and more.

Martin Devlin is a veteran New Zealand radio and television broadcaster.
