On today's episode, It's Only Sport host Martin Devlin adds a distinct cricket and rugby league flavour to the show with the opening day of the first test between New Zealand and Australia in Wellington, as well as the NRL season kicking off this weekend in Las Vegas.

First up though, it's Triple M breakfast host in Brisbane Greg Martin who talks a bit of cricket and some rugby, with Super Rugby Pacific's magic round taking place this weekend in Melbourne. Why on earth are All Blacks players being rested so early in the season? Marto shares his thoughts.

Plus, NRL.com's Brad Walter has touched down in Vegas and he talks the buzz - if any - that the NRL is creating in the United States, Jason 'Costo' Costigan predicts the NRL ladder one through 17 for the 2024 season, and New Zealand Breakers legend Dillon Boucher recaps his former side's impressive win over the Sydney Kings in the NBL playoffs.

As well as that, Devlin and his producer Lachlan Waugh debate extensively on the Tight 5, and the former shares his thoughts on the announcement Newshub will shut down. All that and much more!
