New Zealand Breakers majority owner Matt Walsh joins Martin Devlin on It's Only Sport to review the 2023-24 Australian NBL season for the Kiwi franchise. The Breakers put a tricky start to the season behind them and managed to qualify for the play-in games in the playoffs, where they defeated the defending champion Sydney Kings before falling to the Illawarra Hawks in the final hurdle to make the semifinals.

Walsh talks to Devlin about how the season went from his perspective including players who stood out, their plans in regards to the NBL Next Stars program, how much longer he plans to be involved with the Breakers, and more.

Martin Devlin is a veteran New Zealand radio and television broadcaster.
