Former Black Stick and Olympic gold medallist Ramesh Patel joins Martin Devlin to remember Ross Gillespie, who passed away over the weekend at the age of 87.

He was the coach at the helm of the New Zealand men's side at the 1976 Olympics who beat Australia 1-0 in the gold medal match. Patel talks all about what made Gillespie a special coach, how he got the best out of the team, his coaching style, and much more.

Martin Devlin is a veteran New Zealand radio and television broadcaster.
