Michael Laws is a former MP and Mayor and is now deputy chairman of the Otago Regional Council. He has hosted both radio and TV shows for Radio Pacific, Radio Live and SKY Television. He is an award-winning writer – and has published three bestselling books including No.1 selling blockbuster ‘Gladiator: The Norm Hewitt story’. He is married, resides in Central Otago, is a pro bono advocate for individuals and community causes, and is raising three teenaged children. He loves gewurztraminers and remains an active runner.
